Re: Maxent MX-50X3 Constant vertical lines, looks like bar codes.
I've put a ton of heat to the controller board, and anything that's BGA along with board flexing. Nothing made a change to point to a BGA issue that I can tell. But it still could be possible.
I disconnected the top PDP ribbon on the Y buffer board in the first pic. And in the second pic, I completely disconnected the PDP ribbons from the top middle X board.
Yes Tom the lines to appear over images. I'm uploading some video to better show....
Maxent MX-50X3 Constant vertical lines, looks like bar codes.
I have saved one of these Maxent PDP's from a dumpster and believe it's the Y buffer board. The lines stay pretty constant in color with only a few flickering and changing color. I thought I would ask the opinion of smarter minds since this is my first PDP. Am I on the right track, or do I need to be looking else where?
In the chassis pic, I've already removed the upper y board....
Re: Help identifying a 0341 regulator on a Vizio E320-A1?
Thanks budm and R_J for the help. Looks like it is working correctly then. All regulators have been checked, and are working correctly from what I can tell.
Now I'm really scratching my head. Going to do some more digging it looks like.
Help identifying a 0341 regulator on a Vizio E320-A1?
I'm repairing a 32" Vizio E320-A1 pulled from a trash can. I believe I've identified the issue being a regulator to the processor. Problem is I'm having trouble identifying the part number, and a suitable replacement,
It's a SOT-223 package with 0341 in the top line. Under it is 912T63. No manufacture part identifications.
Basically my issue is the TV will power on with no display or back light, as the LED does come on. But will not turn back off. (Common issue with these things usually indicating a bad regulator from what I'm reading.) All power from the supply...
