Hi Folks!
I acquired this Vizio unit from a friend who was about to toss this unit into the recycle bin. I adopted it hoping to bring it back to life with the help of this wonderful forum.
It only shows a black screen, no sound after I push the power button.
I hear a slight buzzing sound from the power supply.
The main Board # is 3637-0012-0150(3C)
Here are the LDO regulator readings (turned off and on) and a few pictures.

Success!
I also found an offending bulged capacitor under the power supply heat sink (470uf 25v).
The tv powers up and works great! I attached a picture for your reference.

Plugged it in, hit the power button and took the following voltage readings:
U9
Pin1=0
Pin2=1.5 volts
Pin3=4 volts
U7
Pin1=.03 volts
Pin2=1.27 volts
Pin3=4.03 volts
U33
Pin1=2.79 volts
Pin2=4.03 volts
Pin3=5.10 volts
U8
Pin1=2.04 volts
Pin2=3.28 volts
Pin3=5.15 volts

I recently acquired a Phillips LCD # 42PFL7422D/37 for $70 from Craigslist. I have the same problem (no picture but has sound) but I noticed upon cracking open the unit that I have a different pair of Master/Slave inverters. Would anybody know which inverter design if less prone to malfunction.
I don't see any visible bulging on the caps or any visual burnt parts. I saw an exact pair on a new pair on ebay for $58 for the same unit. Are these pairs interchangable? The other design goes for $119/pair.
