I tried replacing the sub power supply now I can't get anything to show up. Now i guess i try the power supply?

Ok, I have read through a bunch of threads, and if you guys think I'm in over my head, let me know and I will just throw it out and get a new one. I don't work the comps and stuff, but i am pretty mechanically inclined. I think I can do this, I just don't know the terminology. I have the back off, I checked 2 fuses that I see, and they were good. I do not see anything chared or burnt. Also all I have is a basic digital meter. I think from what I read it is the power inverter, but I don't know how to find it. Also, where do you get the cheap replacement parts from. Any help would be great, tha...
