Re: Digital Lifestyles LCD TV
It turned on fine for a couple of days ago but something happened. I have no picture and no sound.
It doesn't turn on by using the remote control. I have to turn it on by depressing power button( LED light turns green) . I hear the clicking sound when turning it on.
No sound or picture at all
Since remote control cannot communicate with TV, I tried to turn TV off by using the power button with no success, it remained on with green light on. I had to pull power cable from power outlet in order to make it...

Toshiba 32C100U2 blows fuse
Hi, I have a Toshiba 32C100U2 that blows the power supply fuse as soon as I connect the power cord cable to the 110V power outlet. I know it is something bad in the power supply board because I isolated the board by disconnecting all the cables coming from the other boards and blows the
T5A, 250V ceramic fuse. No swollen caps or any burnt components at plain sight. What might it bad with this board model PK101V1550I.

Thanks retiredcaps. I'll buy the 25V since they are the same size.

Re: Digital Lifestyles LCD TV
Thanks for all your recommendations. I tend to replace the bad ones ( 1000UF, 16V Capxcon) with higher voltage ones (25V) of the same size 10x20. I think they will work perfectly if not please tell me if I shoul stick with the 16V only.

Re: Digital Lifestyles LCD TV
redicaps, you recommend me to use low ESR caps. The one you recommend me is Ultra Low ESR made by Rubycon.
That is excellent but since you recommend the other caps, I would also need 4 caps rated at 470uF, 35V Low ESR which are only available in Samxon.
I've always liked to replace the components from the same brand.
Also Samxon has the 1000uF rated at 25V and the same size 10x20. Rubycon has them in 12.5x20. They are not going to fit.
The Samxon are Low ESR instead of Super Low ESR. Should...

retiredcaps, you are right. That powerboard is the same one. By the way, those are the same bad caps I have in my board.

Digital Lifestyles LCD TV
Hi and thanks for the admin for letting me be part of this forum.
I have a Digital Lifestyles LCD TV, model : LT26407. It doesn't turn on. When you connect the cable to the outlet, you can see that current is there because the standby red light is on, but when I hit the Power Button, the red light blinks to green for a fraction of a second, (goes back to red) and hear a realy click inside the TV.
I did a search on Google and found out that the problem is bad capacitors in the power supply. I removed the back of the TV and took a look at the power supply seeing that...Last edited by redcentinela; 04-22-2011, 04:25 PM.
