I have a 50LA6970-ue lg tv. With any kind of input (antenna, hdmi, etc..) the audio works fine, but the image keeps turning on then going black then coming back on then going black, etc.. This cycle of image coming and going keeps happening as long as the tv is on. I checked removed the backcover and checked the backlights while the tv is on, and nothing happens to them even though the problem is still there on screen. I measured the 3.5, 12, and 24 voltages from the power board and they all seemed fine. I tried changing the tcon board with a new one, but the problem...

Newbie DIYer here, had a problem with my TV and thought I would give it a shot and try to fix it. Posted online and was referred to this website, so her I am.

I mainly have a background in Data Science, so hardware is definitely not my thing, but I am interested in learning.
