Do not know the solution but the caps lock blink sequence relates to memory and BIOS:

I'm fairly new here too but maybe better to open a new topic with more details on the problem (maybe same symphton but your board readings could differ and point to a different source of the problem).

Here some Beginner's guidelines to get started....

The part is APL3523AQBI-TRG_TDFN14_2X3 (Datasheet).

I transplanted one from 330S_KBL_MB_V09 board to NM-A381 (see attached pictures, AFAIK they are the same). Still waiting for another part before testing it.

The questions comes from wanting to buy the part for later use on 330S_KBL....

May I ask if a good/working AC adapter of that type always provides 20V on that pin or if it negotiates the voltage when connected to the board?

Same after lifting up one side of L6001 and after removing the caps. That leaves pin 10 (VOUT) on U6001 so the 5V power supply seems bad, at least, and needs to be replaced.

R10860 = solder blow.
14 Ω on the side of the +V5 power supply. (so short on this side)
1.55 MΩ on the +V5CP side.

L6300: 0V 35.1 Ω
L6703: 0V 12.8 Ω
L6701: 0V 4.7 Ω
L6704: 0V 4.7 Ω
L6702: 0V 6.7 Ω

L5901: out of scale (showing 1. on 20MΩ scale)
L6001: 0.017V 20.3 Ω
L6002: 0V 7.92 kΩ and raising up
L6100: 0V 120 Ω

Using a manual range DMM.

3) no new liquid damaged reported...

According to a YouTube video it could be done switching R2009/R2010 resistor. But first would be good to check them on the schematic and to make sure it matches your board model.

Probably nothing will change. Was curious about it as the colors are clearly divided on the VGA and though that maybe they were shorted on the PCH, but this is probably a misconception on my part due to my limited knowledge on the subject.

If the screen panel, the LVDS connector and the cable are good then I'd rather think it is the PCH.

If I'm not mistaken the color behavior can be related to the LVDS data signals:
LVDS_A0#
LVDS_A1#
LVDS_A2#
LVDS_A0
LVDS_A1
LVDS_A2

Did a quick search and the LCD Panel model seems compatible.
Image on external screen through VGA connector is OK? (I know you tested external screen but do not know if HDMI or other output)
