First off, yes I have seen the sticky for general troubleshooting as well as previous guides on this exact model, I actually followed [URL="https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=48259&highlight=lf501em5f"]one of them[/URL] to get me to this point as my PSU was doing the chirping sound due to a malfunctioning C3214 capacitor.
Now my T.V. actually turns on. As soon as I plug in the power cable into AC power (without touching power switch on T.V.), the screen will illuminate for a few seconds, then shut off. I press the power switch and the T.V. will do the same...

Hey all, my name's Frankie.
I have a wide but shallow knowledge base on things like networking & computers, photography, woodworking, too many things to list really. Lately I've been getting more into electrical systems after successfully refitting my garage with L.E.D's. After years of dumpster diving, I'm so tired of finding cool things that appear to be on the verge of functioning again. I'm hoping to meet some cool people who can help me cram even more knowledge into my smooth brain and save some needed electronics...
