ERRATUM! Pins 7 and 8 are to be shorted and not pins 5 and 6!

    Hi everyone!

I have an update, I am asking for the BIOS dump file for purpose of flashing to the laptop. BUT here is a savior to unbrick the BIOS! Just give a "short" on the pin 5 and pin 6 of the BIOS chip during startup to reset it and it goes directly to BIOS GUI!!! Clear the supervisor and user passwords by giving it a passwrd and then clearing them, then also disable the startup or boot password.

Check this link in YT for the dude who did it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FW-RLkzjAS8...

  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

    Hello to everyone!

So I came here because of a bricked Samsung laptop. I found through my searches that there was someone asking for a BIOS dump. And I found myself reading through.

So hey there, I am from the Philippines...I do some non-techy research job for my work and yet I do some laptop and amplifier repairs for myself and friends. These friends usually say it is "just a fuse" problem and I end up usually replacing potentiometers, caps, and ICs...so there I learn from just replacing...
