Well I have the same issue, tried replacing u8 with a BAW 56s, and no go. U8 is for shifter Protection, and U9 for pedals. My U9 was good so swapped it to U8 to insure they are identical and they are. Pedals now not working where as Shifter does not. Initial U8 was blown and causing a CC to ground, and the wheele was in boot loop. Removing it allowed it to be detected by Windows, but withough shifter functionality. Pins 2 and 5 share a trace to ground, 1,3,4,6 got to the shifter connector and to the STM 32 logic pins PB3,4,5,6 passing through some filtering caps and resistors on the way. I too...
