I am testing Power Supply appart, Applying pull up resistors to PS-ON, STB ON, and panel-power, Have PFC voltage around 400VDC, 13 volts and 5 volts, but no power on led connectors, having 6 power supplys with same setting and none of them have DC voltage's on led connectors, Am I missing another condition or pull up?Leave a comment:

I just jumpered 2 diodes on lower right strip, and one diode on right upper strip. All rest of LED's are on, forcing it to turn on will work, but if I unppluged AC cord it will flash long and short again, Now I think that lamp error should be reset, but I just turn lamp reset on and don't know how to reset.
If you want to test the leds strips just disconnect 2 connectors (+)led1-4, and (-)led 1-4 blue,gray,black and red cables, mark all the (+) with tape remove cables from connectors and use 400 vdc with 1k 1/2 watt resistor...Last edited by djluis; 02-17-2014, 03:29 PM.Leave a comment:

I have repaired several of this models in 42 and 50 inches, but obviously when I checked the buffers there were low readings from the floating and VSC.
This particular one the buffers doesnt have low readings is upper on the 300k ohms. But as soon I replace the YSUS it damage the YSUS shorts some transistors. I have invested a lot of money with this unit not worth the time spending also. I will order the transistors and will try to repair the YSUS, and in the near future will post results.Leave a comment:

It looks like this model is very sensitive to damage the YSUS board, I am working on one and damage the YSUS board 3 times. So it looks like the 3 boards should be replaced 2 buffers plus the YSUS.
Now if someone have enougth experience with this model, can I turn TV on without the buffer boards, so I can measure VSC, VY, and other voltages generated by the YSUS board?Leave a comment:

I fixed my unit power supply led blinking.
Removed lcd panel dsimount it completely carefully lot of screws to be removed,
Get into the lamps pull the lamps a little, and found arcing area on the board where one of the lamps is soldered, used a knife to remove carbonized area and cleaned totally, put some HV tape for insulation, mount everything back together with a lot of patience and get it to work perfectly.

I have the same problem, replaced Power supply together with the main unit from shopjimmy.com and still with the same problem, so it looks like a problem with the backlights lamps, glad if I find the schematic of the power supply to modify it to put it to work.Leave a comment:
