    I just repaired a PS-PB23W soundbar. Although one of the power amp capacitors was failing the main problem turned out to be the 47uf 50v capacitors. Four out of five were bad. Pioneer either cheaped out on these or they came from a bad batch. I’ve documented the repair on Ifixit if interested.

    Great thread. I have the same Samsung tv that exhibited the same problem. Having dealt with open or shorted electrolytics for years I was pretty confident the problem would be obvious when I took the back off the set. I was sad to see no puffy or leaking capacitors. I decided to remove all of the electrolytics and test them. All were good. One step closer to the dumpster.
