    A small update on durability of Gigabyte.
    I have using this boards for 2 years already. Mainly cheap versions starting with 945/946, P31, P35, P43, P45, G31, G41, G43, G45. What to say, I am very satisfied with them. Used on 300+ maybe 400 PCs and I will not change them if they keep this way. (There have been failures here and there, but the factors were mostly external, mainly connected to electric discharge during thunderstorms, using LAN connector as entry point in the MB.)

    Well, its not my latest mess-up, it was 5-6 years ago. There were many mess-ups till today.

    It was an important client HDD, 80GB Maxtor IDE desktop drive. As it was realy important, I decided to connect it first to one of my "service" PCs to make a back-up copy to another drive.
    My service PC was smth like s478 MB, PCs dedicated for copying/virus cleaning/bad sectors cleaning purposes. It had a really long Optical drive, I don't remember the brand and it was not tighten with screws so it was peeking from the housing....

    I have registered just to inform you that my A6000 laptop had the same issues.
    No video on post, just fast blinking lights, blue mail and 3 green power lights, then turn off after 2 seconds. I've tried disconnecting everything that is not needed for boot-up. I didn't solve the problem until now:
    I can confirm that I have solved the problem with reflowing the motherboard, more exactly the MB chips: nVidia GPU and Sis bridge.
    What I've done: I've practically removed everything from the motherboard, that includes removing the motherboard...
