First real post ever. I used to lurk a lot but got busy with other things, and rusty.

Here's what happened: I was given a nice older broken Toshiba Regza 55zv650u. It didn't turn on. I figured it could be a easy fix, a power supply. I used to fix computer monitor power supplies all the time, with nothing more than capacitors.

Well, there's a thread on here on this power supply board (V28A000962A1) and a youtube video posted in it. Helpful stuff. I found from the youtube my fuse/resistor R850 was shot (can't remember if blown open or closed)....

I've been replacing capacitors in motherboards for decades now as part of my side job of refurbishing and reselling computers and monitors.

I ran across the forum a few times in my day. This time, however, I really need the pics to help me figure out a TV power supply board. So I'm signing up. Good to meet everyone.
