HP 840 G3 bios for struggling lady

Hi, I have a HP 840 G3, the hard drive is wiped clean no partitions but the bios has administrator password that I don't know. I have a desktop I'm able to use, a external hard drive and 16gb usb drive. I'm trying to transform the HP to a workable laptop for my nursing studies, any help would be appreciated 😁

I have no idea what to say, I have this need to know how things work and if I don't know I'll spend eternity finding out! I have no real technical qualifications and knackered a lot of things with my lack of knowledge, but saying that I know more than my children do and I am their go to person when they can't sort out their phone, laptop, Xbox and surround sound so I must be doing something right! 😂 At the moment I'm trying to find out how to reset a administrator password on HP 840 G3....don't ask how I got to this......
