I am wondering if my problem with the BIOS auto recovering its data is related with Sure Start Gen4:

I have a BCU dump of my BIOS settings, some of these may be relevant:
Also this laptop has an AMD processor with these features set on the BIOS:

I can't risk damaging the laptop, I don't even know where the EC is located on this particular model. And because nobody on this forum has still unlocked a G11, there is no guarantee to have this issue solved even if I disassemble the entire laptop and find the chip to extract the EC content.
If there is no alternative I still have to think what I'll do.
Nevertheless, I am very grateful for all the help. Thank you all!...

Same problem than with the 2 previous unlocked BIOS. I begin to think that HP has implemented some additional security measure on G11 series so when it detects a modified BIOS automatically restores from the EC. I can't find another HP G11 thread on the forum so I can't know for sure.
Thank you!...

Exact same problem than before, I get a black screen at first boot so F10 does not work. Then it reboots 2 times and displays the message I posted on #3. I have checked CRC32 after flashing to be sure the patched BIOS was written correctly to the chip.
Thanks!...

It is not working, computer rebooted 2-3 times and displayed the message:
So still asks for password when entering the bios. Also the CT Number you posted is from the battery, the System Board CT Number is PTLGT00WBJQ0AE, could it be related?
Thanks!...
