Cheers , but issue is so sensitive .
Tried heat / freeze aswell
Most components on the board are SMD types , which are so difficult to access , as ports in the way .
Absolute nightmare to work on .

Cheers guys , but everything including screen data stored on the TSOP 48 packaged NAND flash chip , which i suspect is issue on original faulty board .
Hi Vince , can post a picture on Monday , but really just getting a solarised picture due to incorrect display settings .

Also on the link you posted,it relates to pairing Sony TV main with T-con & display,which i'm well aware of.

Been doing some detective work of my own.
ALPS RK16812MG seem to cover this range of motor driven potentiometers .
From there i found adding 04YA at the end brings up a 50K type on E BAY .
Ali Express is cheaper though.
Only issue might be is if potentiometer track differs , but at that price , worth a pop.Leave a comment:

Hi , yes Y-SUS can damage Z-SUS , as well as a faulty display .
I have used a 100W bulb on VS supply line from PSU as a load .
To be honest whenever i repair a plasma TV with a sustain board issue , i use a variac to gradually increase the AC supply , as it can save damaging boards if there's an additional issue .
Did you also reflow the large coils on Y-SUS ?Leave a comment:

Hi , yes IC04 & IC05 both connected to the data bus .
Both chips seems to operate well , with volume board disconnected .
I can select any of the line inputs and audio goes through ok .
Do have a slight suspision that data within SPI chip might be corrupted.Leave a comment:

That's IC04 & i did check , but seems ok .
I suspect it may be that useless grease that's used within the volume encoders.
Had it before on other units , but never like this , with no volume at all.
