Samsung No Picture Red Blinking Light
I have a Samsung UN55H6203AF. Just a red blinking light when power is plugged in. I notice the red light reacts to the remote if a button is pressed. Looked at t the power board. Looks clean. Nothing burnt. All caps look fine. Power board is BN44-00774A.

Re: Vizio VO47LFHDTV30A Dead Set
Needed that info. I used a 22 ohm resistor. plugged it in and sparks flew and burnt up those resistors.

Re: Vizio VO47LFHDTV30A Dead Set
Currently working on this board. What are the ohms of R901/601? They are the same. From looking at the colors it is Red Red Silver Gold Silver. When I try to look this up I can't find a resistor with the third strip as Silver. I can see that one of the resistor is damaged. There is no reading across it.

Re: Vizio sv420m black screen
No. Once I get b/l to stay on, I see a blue LED on the board that is lit up. It will light up for like 5 sec and then fade away. After it fades off, the b/l goes out.

Vizio sv420m black screen
All I get is a black screen when plugged in and power on. Power board is DPS-260JP. Board doesn't seem to have any burnt parts or bulging caps. Something I noticed was that when I wiggle the wider plug around, the back light would flash for split seconds. I would slowly move the plug around stop as soon as the back light comes on. The back light would then stay on. I notice this blue LED lights up for couple seconds then it fades away and the back light turns off. Any suggestions.

Re: Philips LCD 42PFL5432D/37 - Bad PSU
OMG. Didn't know this thread came back. Well last time I posted, no one said anything for a long time so I stopped coming back here. Looks like a lot more good info. Well my board is still in the same situation. Seems no one has been able to fix this chirping issue. Looks mostly like you guys have been trying to do this external power mod instead of fixing the real issue. I recived another power supply that was suppose to work, but when it is put in nothing happends. The red power light on the power button is flickering rapidly. Doesn't power...

Re: Philips LCD 42PFL5432D/37 - Bad PSU
I soldered the two new diodes in. Turned the tv on and no more chirp. Then all the sudden the white lights came on. I looked at the screen and it was back to normal. Yay!!! I screwed everything back together and three of us picked up the tv to mount it on the wall and plugged in all the video cables and power. Turned it on and nothing. It started chirping again. Darn. All that work. There must be something still wrong that caused it to go bad again. I took it all apart and tested the diodes. They are still good. The power must have gone beyond...

New diodes came in. They measure 300 and only going one way.

Re: Philips LCD 42PFL5432D/37 - Bad PSU
Don't know what the numbers mean with my DMM, but with one diode I get 11 both ways and the other 29 both ways.

Re: Philips LCD 42PFL5432D/37 - Bad PSU
Can I test the voltage without the TV? I don't have the TV now. Just the powerboard. I can plug it into the power but I'm sure it won't turn on without something jumping certain pins.
Attached is where I noticed some discoloration under two diodes. I took the diodes out and tested with DMM on diode mode. I get a reading both ways on both diodes. I believe that means they are bad. I'll get them replaced. They are part# P6KE120A. Data sheet says they are uni directional.
Has anyone ever fixed their board? Seems...

Yes the transformer does look good. I meant the solder. Looks like they're kinda burnt. That's all.

Re: Philips LCD 42PFL5432D/37 - Bad PSU
Just replaced ABCD and still chirps. Next I'll try all the small caps and see.
Does my T905 Transformer look bad. It sounds like the chirping is coming from this. It looks this way on both sides....

Re: Philips LCD 42PFL5432D/37 - Bad PSU
Working on the same case. Just opened the tv and the caps on psu were buldging. Same values as the ones posted in first thread. Once caps A,B,C, and D come in, I'll solder them in and see results. The tv is now doing that chirping sound with no screen. I've fixed quit a few things in my time. Hopefully I'll add this on to the list.
