Hi,
There is a small board in that area, the board that you can see the top of where the ribbon cable runs to, that board says T370HW02 VC CTRL BD.

I checked the screen again, even with a flashlight and I do not see any image, just had sound again. The screen does have a light glow to it and I can see the light from behind the screen when the back is off of the TV. The main board I replaced it with was bought new, do you think it was bad with it being new? Any other ideas or thoughts for me? Thank you so much for your help.

I am sorry to reply to this thread but new at this forum thing and couldn't located how to create a new thread of my own. However I have a Samsung LA40B530P7R, its a 40'' LCD TV also. The problem I am having is I am getting no video at all, no on screen display or anything. I do not the backlight of the screen and if I hook a HDMI device up I can hear the sound of the movie that is playing, no never any picture. I have replaced the IP power board and the main board and I still have the same issue. I am attaching...
