I have done this. The TV seems to boot correctly (I can hear the menu sounds when I use the remote control), but the panel does not display anything.
Is there a chance that my original 25Q80 dump is damaged as? If yes, is there some way to fix it ?...

Hi,
For 1) : I am the first one who opened the TV and performed the dump.
For 2) : I did exactly what you mentionned. The status register was effectively well programmed. Used 2 different programming software to cross-check.
I made supplementary measurements on the board when it is mounted on the TV :
VCC : 3.3V
CS/ : 1.89V
WP/ : 0.3V
I think the CS/ and WP/ values look strange. They should be stable at 0V or 3.3V. I measured the 25Q80 to compare and the voltage are good.
I can imagine 2 possible problems :
- The 25Q40...

Hi Lotas,
I made supplementary experiments, setting the status register to 0x88 and 0x42.
After programming, when I plug the power, the LED light is ON. When I power the TV the light goes OFF, and blinks rapidly when I play with the remote or the power/joystick button. (seems to be normal operation). Panel is switched on but nothing on screen.
If I unplug and replug the power, the LED does not switch ON anymore, and panel switch on instantly. I assume this is not normal.
When re-reading the 25Q40, it seems corrupted again even if I have set the security bits in the status...

Thank you very much Lotas !
I tried to program this bin but the TV still does not work :-(
Maybe I can explain a little bit more.
I own a UE55MU6105 TV, with no working display. Mainboard reference is BN94-12648J. Reading the forums I suspected the 25Q40 memory to be corrupted, and this is why I asked you.
The bin you provided has no effect unfortunately.
However, I also have a EU58MU6122 mainboard, that looks very similar to the other one (ref BN94-12640G).
I tried it on the TV : it does not display anything, but I can hear the menu sounds when...Last edited by RomainO; 12-06-2023, 03:40 AM.
