Yamaha RX-A700 Receiver No Power, No Standby
Hello everyone,
I'm having a problem with my Yamaha A700 Receiver. I got this unit from a friend. It does not power on, no lights, no click of the relay, completely dead. I saw some information regarding the poly/film capacitor being a problem with the standby power board on other models. I replaced those caps and it has not made a difference. Fuse checks continuity. I measured the board connector (AC_PWR, DGND, +5.5V, +5.5V, GND, GND, PRY_IN) while powered with my multimeter in AC, values seemed too high. I'm new to repairs, but if anyone has any idea what to check and look for...
