Hey guys,

Am i the only one that has this powerboard in my Samsung 740N?

See the attached pictures. The caps seem fine and are labeled 'JH'. What should I do? Does anyone knows what this board is and if it has the same problems with the common ones?

Thank you...

NotSoSure (or anyone else more expert than me, meaning a lot of you!)are you here?
I only found 10 of the T520V337M2R5ATE009 polymer tantalum capacitors available and ready to ship (with low...

What a great site and what great info!
Thanks guys! I will try to revive my A205 A.S.A.P!
I will buy 4 of the T520V337M004ATE007 and see how it goes!

I will post with the results as soon as I get it done.
Until then... Keep up the good caping!

• Caps equivalent to 510uf 4v???

Hey guys.

Just got my hands on a PCI-Express graphics card that has several bad caps and among them a SANYO OSCON (purple sleeve) that reads 510uf/4v.

The problem here is that i cannot find that exact type of cap with that capacitance. The only caps i find near to that are 560uf/4v (Sanyo OSCON solids i believe would do the job). Would it be ok to recap the card with that kind of capacitors? One thing i know is that you shouldn't get over the original capacitance whereas you can go a little up in voltage. Would these 50 microfarads make the board fail (or burn)...

Re: CapXon

Capxon caps were the culprits for my Viewsonic monitor too (All 4 of them!). After replacing them, the monitor came to life again! Don't know if there is a "good series" in Capxon caps but as far as it goes for me, i will never buy them... And this is just my humble opinion.

• Re: Identifying Nichicon PL

So the other day i bought the caps you can see in the picture. A lot of 10. For 3$! How stupid could i be to believe these where original Nichicons? The answer is "very stupid". Well, they were my first caps and i didn't know. So, beware of fakes for low prices on eBay... What is really funny is that some had the vent stamp from Teapo as above (and i used those to recap a graphics card) and the vents of the other ones where like the ones in my other pictures...

A very helpful post indeed! Are there any ways to identify fake Rubycons...

• Re: Chimei DAC-19M009 Power Supply problems

I would advise you to select the brand and type of capacitors according to this forum's post https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=2280
If it is like one i saw (the listing you posted has nichicons which are good overall) ask the seller what exactly type are the capacitors (e.g. PM, PW, HE etc.)
Hope this helps.Re: Chimei DAC-19M009 Power Supply problems

Same here as Mishael guys! Great news!
I replaced all the C(r)apxons capacitors with Rubycon capacitors (1000uf-25v x 2 and 220uf-25v x 3) and the monitor works like a charm! The other capacitors seemed fine so i left them as they were.

Thanks for all of your support and advice!
Keep on supporting this great forum!

Cheers!

Sorry, my bad...
I live in Greece. I will check the other two you suggested.
You are really helpful around here. Appreciate that. Thanks!

Digikey wants 18 Euro to send me 10 capacitors... Reliable maybe, but not that cheap...

OK, will do that!
I will post pictures and let you know of the progress. I hope everything is going to be fine and that my LCD will come back to life.

Thank you very much!

Wow! This is what they call "Fast Reply"!!! Thank you for your remarks and advice.

These Capxon capacitors are really crap(xon). A lot of people are having the same problem. Such a shame that they pick these for building a nice LCD with a lot of features that eventually will fail (in shorter time than usual!).

Would you suggest me to go for the 19M010 board? I am not that experienced in soldering...
I have found one on eBay that is relatively cheap. Is it ok to post the link in here? I hope...

Hello all,

Bringing back the same post with somewhat the same problem...
I own a Viewsonic VX2245wm and guess what! The screen went black. Only the blue power indicator and an instant (less than a second) flash without any image whenever i try to connect it to my PC's video card.
My question is simple enough. How do i know it is the PCB and not the inverter? All capacitors seem fine (see the attached pics) or i think they are.
And one more... Is it possible to replace the 19M009 with the 19M010 that...
