Hi I read the IC one more time today. I think the issue was from within the T48 software upon saving the data I changed Buffer from Default to Flash only - Never needed to do that....Leave a comment:

Hi, I have exactly de soldered the IC and cleaned it well. The data that is read seemed intact but larger by 1KB and seemed arbitrarily larger. Are you stating that my read is bad and what about it makes you state that?...Leave a comment:

1. 25RH256 check ID OK
2. 25RH256 read with TL-48 programmer
(gave check id error) and abort
with check id disabled read twice OK
but data was extra at the end by 1KB
file was thereafter truncated to match size
data in Hex Editor seems to be apparent with other similar BIOS
(Possible its just to T48 software that needed an update)
3. Updated T48 software and check id error no longer present but still an extra 1KB...Leave a comment:

Well I'm new here (how does one make threads like this?), with a similar problem. I have attached photos.
I am missing a resistor after it got knocked off and flung onto my floor😣😭😭
The resistor is near the Q526 IC (6 pin), top side PCB. To avoid the same problem an in circuit resistance will be fine I guess.
