    Greetings all,

    I've been trying really hard to figure this one out on my own and I'm finally throwing in the towel. But not before I at least take a stab at it first. So I have a board from a Samsung S27C750 monitor and when I turn it on, I just get a black screen. It slowly started losing its life to the point where you turn it on and nothing happens. For a while, the screen would turn off then back on and do weird stuff like that. Everything I read pointed to bad caps. They don't look bad, I don't see any signs of leaking or bulging or anything, but I figured I would try and replace...

    Greetings,

    I hail from Seattle Washington, work in the tech industry and I'm looking at dipping my toes into the world of pcbs and soldering etc. Mainly cause I've seen so many instances of broken TVs/monitors on account of the capacitors being bad. Why does samsung use such garbage parts?! Lol
