Hi,
No I´m still working with this, code is still same 80801F12... plan is to replace all Hynix chips, but lets see... One thing crossed my mind, is bios checking memory chips etc...if NOR chip needs to be modified or update after RAM chip replace......

Ps5 edm-40 blod
Ps5 came with only beeps nothing else, i hook up uart -> ram bank4 error (hynix chip) ordered same type, replaced chip with bga station, now gives fan spin and blod 1s
and uart gives 80801F12 code… tried to look up the code but no succes. Atleast message for ram bank4 is gone -
Wifi module removed, I took the shield of, and few caps are shorted, so this could prevent PS5 to start.......Leave a comment:

The cases where crystal has been running SB has been OK, but I have find useful to hook up UART to PS board to find out error codes -> console tool is free as well... there are several links to get detailed info about connecting UART and how to read codes...Leave a comment:

Still it doesnt turn on, all voltages are present, and strange thing when 12v is connected to standby. Then it takes 280mA and hangs 10s or so something is still not working correctly... but I hooked UART and checked error codes...80810001, this could be Wifi module..lets try to replace it...Leave a comment:

PS5 EDM-031 Cap values

Update!
So, with further investigation, I find strange things, Led strip voltage was 260 without the load (led-strips), when load was put back -> voltage to 0V. Led strips were tested with LED tester, it showed 100V and very dimmed light. Next I scoped/measured pins of control IC for Led backlight (SM1251), IC is getting 12V, but output for Mosfet is only few mV -> So after changing SM1251 -> output is 13.5V for Mosfet and voltage for ledstrip is 125V (loaded), but still backlight is dimm, no help from settings (thru menu -> brightness etc.) I decided to change led strips...Leave a comment:

I was using multimeter, voltages are around 260V DC, and stays, so it seems that led strips are dead... I ordered new strips... i will dissassemble more to check what went wrong with the strips......Leave a comment:

Ps5 adp-400fr main transformer
Tried to search delta mp-130r transformer, specs and replacement part, but no luck.
problem is cracked transformer, it cant be fixed safely -

White stuff is glue or something, I removed it to measure mosfet... LED tester is ordered to check is it mainboard or the strips... lets see..... Il do measurements for led connector, to see if its shorted or missing voltages..

I managed to measure those zeners (zd1 and zd3), feedback opto is not working so it needs to be replaced. Also a handfull of other componens has toasted😂
