I had the same issue, I used the normal commander. Just type CMD in the address bar in the python folder. Put the autopatcher and the original bios file also in this folder....

Patched the attached BIOS with the autopatcher, and wrote it to my L470.
During startup it beeps a lot (10 beeps or something) and doesn't show anything on the screen.
