Hello Everyone,
I saw another thread with similar problem, but no solutions yet. I thought I would post my pictures with my findings. Badcaps community helped me fix one of my HP monitors, so I thought I would ask for help fixing Hanns-G.
Monitor turns on, display stays on for 1-3 seconds and the monitor goes to sleep with amber light on where the power button is. Sometimes the monitor would work for a while after sitting unplugged for few hours.
I took the monitor apart and heard some clicking sound coming from one of the voltage regulators. I believe...

Which one was it? I think I have the same problem in my monitor. I hear the clicking sound, but I cannot point out which ccfl is bad... -

I had an old hitachi projector with no bulb in it. So I decided to check the specs on the fuse and it was 5A. I put it into the CP-X430W and the projector is working now. Thank you for your help!!

I found out that the fuse on the power supply board went bad. Then I took small, thin copper wire and put it across the fuse holders. When I did that, I tested the voltage at the connector that goes to the lamp and it read 160V. With the fuse in place there was no voltage.
The specs on the fuse are 6.3A and 250V. I wanted to buy it at radioshack, but they do not have that specific fuse. I was wondering if it is ok to use 5A fuse in place of 6.3A.

I was trying to search the web for technical drawings/repair manual for this projector since I do not even know where the sensors are located. I was not able to find anything besides the user manual

I decided to create new thread, separate from my original thread about Hitachi projector.
This Dell 2300 MP was dropped during its cooling cycle after i finished using it. Now when I try to turn it on, the temp and lamp indicator lights stay lit while fans keep spinning.
I was told that the lamp may be bad. I decided to take out the lamp from its housing and connect it to a different projector. When I did that, the projector turned on and the home screen appeared. Hi guys, I decided to come back a year later and ask for help
Last year you helped me fix my lcd monitor. It works till this day. Thank you again to everyone who helped. Now I have a projector problem. I hope someone can help me.
I have an old Hitachi projector. It ran really well until few weeks ago. It started losing power. Even the LED lights would not light up. After flipping the projector upside down few times, the LED light would come back on and I could power up the projector. Now the projector is completely dead. Nothing comes on when it plug it in.

Hello Everyone!
Today I received my C5707 transistors. I went ahead and solderd them in and as you can see on the picture I am using my fixed and working monitor to post the update
I changed only one set of C5707's and resoldered the other two. I also resoldered all the transformers. Hopefully this monitor will last me another few years
