Noup, the signed firmware update is interfering again with the update. But this one (A18) was the latest and most reliable source I could find, and I'm fine with it. At least in my machine, it works just like it was its own BIOS. I had some bugs during boot time and settings saving with other dumps I found on internet (A07, A12)...

I bought a dead E6430 with an LA-7782P motherboard. It has NVIDIA and Intel graphics cards.
At first I didn't knew what the problem was, I bought just it for spare parts for my E6420, for something like $50 with all accessories.

This week, I was learning abour EEPROM programming and remembered I had that laptop thrown somewere in the garage, so could give it a try.
