Re: 55EC930V white vertical line appeared (need help)
One thing I know is to block the protection pin on LVDS cable, tv could Start again but will not fix any screen issue (in this case a vertical line how you said.
You have to look at the service manuel, when I remember the name was something like "burnt_det"

Re: LG 55EC930V OLED - 3 Second Power No Display
Ok when the LG Logo stays illuminated then TV is powered up. if i remember you had to press exit with normal remote and then power off TV. in-stop should work too after pressing exit when TV started with bright LG Logo. can you try again?

Re: LG 55EC930V OLED - 3 Second Power No Display
It was the screen, i had a thread in this forum and we tested it.
forced panel on and half screen side was dark. it's sad because it was a expensive TV for these 4 years.
@tmaster21 ahh, sad to see your screen defective.. :/ but you can bypass it, to turn the tv on with broken panel. on the LVDS there is a pin "BURNT DET", i blocked this pin and then i could start the normally, then i saw on my tv the loading screen two seconds with stripes, then screen went black.
here is service...Last edited by TeslaMichael; 11-04-2022, 04:08 AM.

Re: Oled cof tab bond Q&A
I tried opening the panel (55ec930v) long time ago and i was very careful but then panel cracked. I got also some images that I can post tomorrow. I would say it is almost impossible to open panel.

Re: LG 55EC930V won't turn on
Oh okay, my OLED had this same issue. At the end it was a panel problem.
But it doesn't mean that your tv has also faulty panel. Sometimes mainboards fails too.

Re: LG 55EC930V won't turn on
This is a OLED, this set doesn't have LED backlights.
Do you have a Service remote or old phone with IR sensor ?

Re: LG 55EC930v is not turning on, it's dead
Project is over.
i did test with my T-con again and the replacement T-con. this t-con had issue if you remember that there was a white line on left side going down with the replacement t-con. if it reached the end of the screen, right side went bit brighter with freezed horizontal lines.
left side was bright.
i was 40 cm away from left side and i feeled the air gets hotter. i touched it and HOLY SHIT was this hot!!!
measured 86°c!! after one minute.
Want to thank all here for helping... it...

Re: LG 55EC930v is not turning on, it's dead
And the another weird thing is now, TV is now always turning on with normal remote and i see everything flickering. then also the loading image and then everything is away on screen and i see on left side a bit green, also a bit of these green lines i got when LVDS removed.. and also hearing sounds in the corner like buzzing..
unfortunately i didn't shot a image of the cabling..
It's time to give up...

Re: LG 55EC930v is not turning on, it's dead
I will try this tomorrow, then i will have more time.
And when putting jumper in place, i won't get a electric shock of rest power from PSU? i remember that condensators save voltages for a small time.
and i looked around the forum again and found one thread with exactly same issue, what i'm seeing on my tv. name of the thread: " Default Re: Need help testing an OLED TV | LG 55EC9300 "
Then it's sure the same thing like in the other topic but i should try it anways.
I should add also, that i'm hearing...Last edited by TeslaMichael; 01-15-2022, 02:03 PM.

Re: LG 55EC930v is not turning on, it's dead
I mean, there are different mainboards avaible for the TV. but on this image, it's my MB.
I can't find a red lamp when TV is on. that's what i mean. you marked it with LD, but there isn't something glowing. Is this a lamp on my MB?
I checked again LVDS cable and one pin is loosing signal if cable is moved. beeps, then nothing, beeps, again no beep and again all the same.Last edited by TeslaMichael; 01-15-2022, 11:59 AM.
