Re: Recommendations for recapping a Ikegami Broadcast TV Camera.
Yes, it is full of small electrolytics. Most of them are about five times a normal esr value for a new capcitor. Some I tested were fifty times normal. Three or so were open. And that was on just one camera. The second camera was the same way. I didn't bother to test the other ones. I figured since they are in such bad condition the best thing would be to just change them all.
They are still nice cameras and I figure we can get at least another five years out of them....

Recommendations for recapping a Ikegami Broadcast TV Camera.
Does anyone have any recommendations as far as brand and type for replacing capacitors in a Professional TV camera? These cameras are used every day so long life will be important.
The current capacitors are marked SRC with no manufacture. They are all small values. The largest is 330uf 16V.
The camera is a Ikegami HC-240 broadcast TV camera.
I am currently looking at the Panasonic FC, M or the Nichicon PW, HE. Are these good lines?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Since there are 150+ capacitors to change in each of the seven cameras,...
