Re: AcBel power supply
Thanks for your help. I had to push the pmu button on the motherboard. I guess when we had the power glitch it must have done something to the PMU on the board.

AcBel power supply
I have an Apple PowerMac dual g4 (MDD) computer and with my last power blink the Mac doesn't startup. I had the power supply checked and they said that all of the voltages were correct. The power supply is an AcBel 360 watts and my question is should I recap it even though the voltages are correct? Thanks

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hi,
I've been working with and repairing computers for 14 years. I like Mac computers and that is how I found this forum. My power supply for my MDD will not start up my mac. I am here trying to learn and to learn my about electronics. So if I ask a dum question its because I am trying to learn. So I'll be asking alot of questions. Any help would be greatly appericated. I've have sent my AcBel power supply to the shop and they said that it was working fine. Before I pulled the power supply out it wouldn't start up my MDD....

Re: Power Mac G4 MDD "Mirror-Door" won't power up
I have an AcBel power supply and it will start on the bench. All of the voltages look ok it would not startup my MDD. Would it be a good idea to change the caps and the switches? Or put it back into the computer and see if it works are not ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
