How do I remove the Supervisors BIOS password on a Toshiba R50-B-12P laptop if you don't know it, as I am hoping there is jumper points on the motherboard somewhere because it seems to be on many of the other Toshibas posted elsewhere on the internet. Maybe there is a Toshiba Master BIOS Password that overrides a Supervisors password possibly?

It's a used laptop I've recently got hold of and I am hoping to refurbish it for a friend that is in dire need of a replacement laptop.

I am new to the forum and fairly conversant with computers over the many years, and even worked for IBM & HP in assembling their Servers & Desktops. I have built desktop systems for many friends & relatives over the years, and taught them how to best use them for their needs.

I've got hold of this used Toshiba R50-B12P laptop, and I am hoping via this forum to learn more about it especially in ow to remove it's registered BIOS Supervisor Password if possible there is a jumper points...
