Hello everyone and thank you for accepting me as a newbie.

My background is from a Military Aircraft Electrical career moving on into Electrical/Electronic equipment production.

I found this forum while searching for help with a Hanns.G HL272 monitor which has suddenly gone very dim and I am hoping that someone can help me fix it

Good morning everyone, sorry to jump on this thread with another problem (Admins please move to the correct area if this is inappropriate) as I am a newbie lol.

I have stumbled across this forum while searching for help with a Hanns.G HL272 monitor that has suddenly gone very dim, you can only just see the picture.

I have successfully managed to open the monitor and have removed the PSU board upon doing this I have found that there is evidence of severe heating up around Semiconductor Q11 and diodes D22 & D23.
