So my MB is a Quanta R63, does it make any difference? I know that by jumping that mosfet I shoud be able to turn on the board at least, but as you said, there are definetly multiple problems......

Hello guys, I recently bought a broken laptop for so cheap but with learning purposes, I would really like to know more and more about this things but I'm stuck in this issue and I hope that someone could help me here...

So, as I was saying, I bought this laptop and the problem was the fact that it had no lights on, no signals of life whatsoever. I disassembled it and checked for voltages and turned out that my main 19v power rail was missing after the first mosfet... So I took it down and jumped a wire and, in fact, now I have the charger light and I also have 19v and 3,3v everywhere...
