it also provided some extra suggestion with putting the exe file and a renamed BOOT_IMG.rcv in USB.

Alienware 17R2 BIOS chip location
Hi there, this is my first post, just hope it is in the right spot.
I have an Alienware 17R2 whose motherboard is LA-B753P. I downloaded the latest BIOS file from Dell website and now it is bricked. I googled everywhere and it seemed to use a programmer to reflash BIOS is the only way (and the cheapest way) to solve the issue.
So my question is: is there anyone who can tell me where is the location of BIOS chip location? I know it is a little silly but from the pictures I found through Google, it seemed that there are more than one 8-pin chips on the motherboard,...

Hi guys. This is Zirf from Australia. Not a professional guy but just want to learn something here, and also, yes, I came across some issue of my laptop when updating BIOS, and Google brought me to badcaps.net. My gut feeling tells me that I can find the answer I need here!
