By profession ASIC Design Engineer from India-USA.

With some free time now a days.
1) Looking at Samsung TV No Back Light (bn44-00341B Power Board CI818 cap problem) - Done.

Next in Line.

2) 2012 - Toshiba 42" LCD TV - IR receiver not working.
3) 2010 - Velodyne DPS 10" Sub Woofer - power on with blue led - nothing happens
4) 2012 - LG Three Door Bottom freezer Fridge - Does not turn on

Earlier fixed few PC, Laptops,...

As every body says - One more TV saved. (LN46C630K1FXZA)

TV was sitting in the corner from 2015. Did some search those days but did not come across this website.

Perfect Audio, No Video, Flash Light shows Video, So no Back Light (no BL what so ever)
Red Light flashes 5 times then blank.

As per this website, when looked at CI818 could not see the problem, removed the cap there it is a small pimple on the side. When tested. Cap is dead. Ordered from element14.
