You got some good advice, remember that consoles tend to have pretty good heatsinking personally I tend to use a thermocouple to ensure I am at the right temp especially when things are a bit difficult. IIRC it should be ROHS lead free solder on most boards we see now a days.

Hello Everyone. New to the forum but have been into electronics for a few years and I enjoy fixing pretty much anything which is broken from a vacuum to a TREX 936 front end loader. I love computers and things which I don't understand tend to be a puzzle to figure out.Leave a comment:
