Re: Phillips 50" Plasma - 50PF7321D/37
on the logic board, there is a button SW2000, what is that? I've been trying to find information on it but sadly no luck, I was wondering if there was a way to reset the logic board or something cause it seems now when i turn it on, the two led's on the ssb stay one, the led on the psu still starts to flash after it goes through the steps of starting the unit (still the two leds on the ssb are lit now) and the front led is solid green and doesn't flash, then the led on the logic, goes off and then a click sound(most likely protection ...

its still there, are you sure it deletes the file once its done? Because the led is still solid green but just no picture and that's without the usb in. I'm going to try connecting something to the AV1 ports and see if it brings it up, i will post back shortly.

Re: Phillips 50" Plasma - 50PF7321D/37
I just found that there was a update for this plasma that is suppose to fix the 4-flashing red light, so I gave it a try just now, well it doesn't flash anymore and the front led is green... but still nothing so far.

Hey Plainbill, i've tried, a new ssb, and a new power supply... still nothing where should i go from here? I've tried old psu with new ssb, new psu with old ssb, new/new. Also to add these parts i purchase were brand new not used or anything. I hope you have some advice for me cause this is getting expensive lol

I have experience with SMT repairs, but at the moment i don't have the space to do that kind of work, so i will order the ssb and see how that goes, if not i will repost the ssb

so since the psu is reading right on voltage then it has to be the ssb? also meaning i repaired the psu correctly? lol

Re: Phillips 50" Plasma - 50PF7321D/37
Hi Plainbill, finally got some time to test the ssb voltage with the tv turned on, i got 12.39v then when it starts to flash it goes to the 0.03 (like before, i'd figured that is because it shut down to protect the components) my question is the ssb this one or this one....

Re: Phillips 50" Plasma - 50PF7321D/37
Hi every, sorry for not posting anything the past few weeks, was in the hospital with something that has been going around here in south texas, sadly now i'm still having to test the voltage and keep my job lol... anyways I hope to have the voltage on the ssb to you'll in the next few days, also if you've seen me logged in, its because my wife uses this pc as well sometimes and I use firefox and I asked her to save all of the windows on the browser after she is done.

Re: Phillips 50" Plasma - 50PF7321D/37
ok on the psu the, 12V ssb it get 0.03V and the 5Vstb gets 5.34V, please note this is from the psu so is it still the psu? at the way things are looking, the psu is still shot... or at least the 12V ssb on the psu and i did trace the wires for the 12V ssb to the ssb and still 0.03... any ideas now or should i just buy a new psu from ebay?Last edited by WinRyder; 03-02-2011, 04:27 PM.

Re: Phillips 50" Plasma - 50PF7321D/37
on the psu there is a spot that says 12V ssb and underneath that is a 5Vstb, after looking more at the board there are others ones, like D3V3, D5V, Va, 5Vsw, GND_SSP, 8V6
which of these should i test?

Re: Phillips 50" Plasma - 50PF7321D/37
Way one - not able to do
Way two - the flashing red led on the front of the tv basically goes through this procedure. When plugged in you hear two clicks from the psu (guessing its the relay at the same time the led is green. After about a few seconds you will notice the screen attempt to come on (looks like a slight fuzzy flash, best way to describe it) then you hear one more click of the psu, and the green led turns off and then the led switches to red and flashes 4 times *pauses* flashes 4 time *pauses*...

Re: Phillips 50" Plasma - 50PF7321D/37
Ok, changed out the caps with the ones recommended, still nothing... I also tested the the other caps and all are fine. I've read from page 25 and down on the service manual and I don't understand 100% the procedure that needs to happen to let me know what the code is. Am I suppose to look at the front of the tv in the bottom left hand corner, or on the back where the psu is located?

Re: Phillips 50" Plasma - 50PF7321D/37
would it be a good idea to replace all of the caps with Low ESR?
