Help sourcing replacement / alternative chip
Hi guys, this chip appears to be shorted to ground. Continuity tests to 20V power pin on one side, then the entire other side is continuity with ground. Also heats up to ridiculous temperatures.
What alternative chips can I use in place? Or where could I source a replacement. I can't even seem to find documentation on the chip.

Full disclosure, unaware if I'm testing the diode correctly, bare with me.
Third pin continuitity tests to ground, all 3 pins continuity test with each other.

Hey guys, beginning to work on board level faults.
Machine is our stock, came in not charging batt. Battery is brand new, tested in another machine as not faulty. In Bios, originally it would say Battery: Health excellent, Charging: Idle, AC adaptor: Unknown
Using different genuine AC adaptors changed nothing.
Opening up showed liquid damage, PU1 was burnt out, and PR823 had rust on it.
Replaced PU1, no change. Replaced PR823, and the symptoms have changed.
Now battery shows as not installed, and AC adaptor : unknown.
I dont believe that either component... -

Hey guys, chasing a schematic or hopefully a boardview file for Dell E5570 ADP80 LA-C841P Rev: 3.0 (A02)
(Work in I.t shop, our own stock, have a donor board)
The issue is related around battery charging, and has definitely had liquid damage. PU1 Was burnt out, but there is no other visible damage.
Replaced PU1 with no change.
Actual issue: battery not charging. Battery is good, in BIOS it shows AC Adaptor: Unknown, Battery health: Excellent, but Charging: Idle
