I exactly have the same issue with my UFX1604.
Crackles at channel 7 (and also channel 5).
Were you able to fix it finally?
Before thowing away the mixer I would give it a try to repair.
Any tipp is welcome if you have one ;-)

Hello there,
just to indroduce myself:
I am an IT guy, studied with a master degree in Computer Science. Based to hardware development I fiddled around with electronics since I was a child and build my own equipment for making music (Tube Amps, Solid State Amps, Preamps).
Beside my second profession as bassist and producer I also act as sound engineer at live gigs.
