hello sir, thanks for answer. I already resoldered the chip on the reader 2 times, I made like 10x readeing and it was all the time exactly same. I fried it during the desoldering or the dump is correct.. I lost 100k resistor so I can not test it on laptop directly yet, but I ordered laso the new eeprom. Can I use diferent dump?... -
Hello guys,
I unlocked password bios in 830 G6 but unfortunately the security error appeared. I made reset of the security, I tried to update the bios but no luck. Attached is original (locked) EC, unlocked EC and main bios.

Hello sir, my laptop is finally fixed and working! Vertynov successor was able to read out ITE chip, I modified it and removed password. I tried to flash also clean ITE dump, but it destroyed all SNs, Mac adresses, etc....Leave a comment:

Hello sir, Iam trying to remove password on the same board for a few weeks. Auto-patch dont work on this board (as far I as I understood its only working for =<8th gen). It looks like that only possible option is to read out IT8227E and clear password directly from EC chip.

yes, this I went trough, unfortunately DXE driver (autopatcher) not working for this and I do not ahve programming device for EC. Probably need to wait until "the successor" will arrive....Leave a comment:

Hello guys,
I got laptop E14 as non-working.
type: 20RA001EMC
motherboard: NM-C421
Laptop reacts to the power button, but no picture, no vcore. I dumped bios, cleared ME but no impact. I pushed bios from slighlty different E15 laptop cleared here on forum. Laptop went alive, vcore on, picture showed:
0271: check date and time
0183: bad CRC of security settings in Efi
bios is under password.
Then I rutned off laptop, turn on again and it returned to 1st state - no picture, no vcore. Then I experimented with... -

thank you very much, unfortunately this fix does not work. After the dozen of the minutes it reached error screen, now Iam not able to replicate errors. Esc LED is on, which is better sign.
As far as I understood there is no separated eeprom for the EC.
there is 1 chip only which should contains bios and EC
schematic shows 2 SPI roms but on the board there is just 1 roms chip
or did I miss something?

Latop reacted just to ram removal, thanks to the fixed dump in different thread I am able to very slowly (3 reboots) 0183 CRC error, which I consider as success!
attached is dump from my version, kindly asking for clearing ME and if possible, also BIOS password removal.

Hello all,
I got this amazing laptop UX334FL (10th gen i7, 16gb ram) in non working state. It looks like it was dropped - fan blades completly destroyed and small bump on the top cover.
battery was undercharged - that I fixed with the power supply - and laptop started to be alive. I charged it turned and no picture, then I discovered that there is actually a picture but no backlight. I reflashed the bios to latest to ensure that there is not an issue with the bios. Did not help, so I disassembled and check there is some kind of the corrosion on the LVDS, I scrambled it and... -
