Hi. Happy New Year. Can anybody help me find the location of the TPM security chip for a Lenovo ideapad 3-15ITL6 laptop.
I did find a schematic but it appears the security chip information had been removed.

This bios worked perfectly.
Originally the laptop had a failed bios update which rendered the system dead and unusable. Then I even managed to kill the original flash chip whilst preparing for programming.
So using a purchased virgin flash chip and a bit of experimenting I managed to get a 100% good flash.
Some things I noted were;
attach programmer to usb2 port and not usb3.
After flashing and refitting the chip the system now powered on and then... -

@xaxex My advice is if you use the ch341a programmer you should also use the Colibri 10.0.1.61 software for reading and writing back. The other software does not read/dump the eeprom correctly.Leave a comment:
