This metal plate, located underneath the motherboard, I assume, protects the bottom of the CPU from something or other. It also acts as some sort of anchor for the CPU heat sink. There are four plastic holders at the four corners.

The problem is that it is blocking the areas underneath several capacitors that I have to remove, and the four plastic corner "bolts" are impossible to remove so I can get it out of the way. Short of drilling into them, I'm at a lose.

I know this board has had many bad cap issues, so I hope that someone that took the effort to...
