Re: Lenovo Thinkpad X240 missing CPU vcore voltage
I have the exact same issue on a Lenovo X240 MOBO. I have 1.8v, 3v, and 5v across each of the inductors. I am missing voltage on coils L1, and L7. On the driver chips of each missing voltage point, the voltage required to drive is present.
There are no shorts on the board, nothing is overheating, and ThinkCentre and smsc chips are warm to the touch.
U16 and U2 both have their supply voltage present.
Let me know if I am not making any sense or if I have missed anything.

Re: Identify part on an Asus UX310UQR Motherboard
Thank you very much. The only thing I need now is a picture of the motherboard CPU side. Specifically, the MOSFETS that are bunched together on the RHS of the CPU. I need to be able to see the part number. I need to make sure that my mosfets are located in their correct positions

Re: Asus UX410U or UX310U
Looking for an Asus UX310 UQR schematic, boardview or anything you have. Trying to fix the issue with random shorts on mosfets near CPU.

Identify part on an Asus UX310UQR Motherboard
I am trying to identify a part on an Asus UX310UQR Motherboard for a laptop. There was corrosion on that chip. It only has 2.0 G stamped on top of it. I have no board view and no schematic.
Is anyone able to help, or point me in the right direction? I have taken one pic on the mainboard in full and circled the component and another with it magnified.
Do let me know if I need to submit anything else.
Your help is much appreciated....

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hi My name is Zaffar IRL. I have been doing electronic repairs for a few years. I will try and repair almost anything from through hole to SMD to chip level. I have most of the tools that I think I need.
I have seen other forums, but this one seems to have all the answers to the responses I have seen so far.
