I recently fixed two monitors which use the same power board as the Hanns-g HG281D (power board PSM217-404-h-r).
Both monitors now make a slight buzzing sound when they turn on. The sound becomes a higher pitch when they are turned off (in standby mode). The sound seems to come from the component on the left of C701 (image taken from big HG281D thread).
The monitors don't have any other problems. Is this a normal noise?...

Elotouch ET2620L - No power
Hello,
I have 2 Elotouch touchscreens which do not turn on. The standby LED does not light up either. Both died around the same time.
Model: VB-26106NA (ET2620L)
Power supply: PSM217-404-R, Rev AA3 (online search shows these boards were also used in Westinghouse LTV 32 and 27 LCDs)
None of the capacitors look blown, I even checked the fuse and it is okay. Some of solder joints look like cold solder joints, so I might try to resolder them.
I'm hoping someone else has come across this problem, or even suggest what components to test....
