I dont really have any other boards to play with I'm going to get a 40w iron tomorrow hopefuully, yeah the fan is pretty choc full of crap lol didn't think it was as bad until I opened the case to inspect my card
I have never solderd anything before and cant find a video that shows how to put 1 of those SMD cap's back on. I saw a guide but to be host didn't understand it. If I can use 2 small bits of wire to put it back on it would be easier for me as my CMOS battery is vertical in my mobo and pretty much touches/rubs the cap wich I think is the reason the cap became loose in the first place. Thanks for reading by the way and the quick response
As you can see (Sorry about quality) 1 of the capacitors has come off. This happened the other day My monitor lost output signal so I restarted and it happened 2 more times so I thought something was up and took the card out and noticed the capacitor was not seated correctly and wobbly then it broke off in my hand lol. I hope it can be repaired as I'm too poor to replace and am having to rock a crappy old PCI only FX5200 which is utter balls. I was told on another forum I can just solder a couple bits of wire from the pads to the legs of the Capacitor as it's...
