Re: hp prodesk 600 g1 original bios
I used another dump from an identical model and it works. Now I will change it to a random MAC address to eliminate duplicates on the same network. It seems there is no control mechanism to authenticate the original MAC address of NIC, as long as it has an acceptable one.
Thanks a lot!...

Re: hp prodesk 600 g1 original bios
Do I really need the original MAC to get ethernet card to work? Even if I do, is there a way to embed MAC address to bin file and flash the BIOS?...

Re: hp prodesk 600 g1 original bios
Unfortunately, it's not written on anywhere. I couldn't find any label with MAC address.
I used one of your files.

I want to believe any MAC address should work unless it's FF:FF:.... Does MOBO check the validity of MAC and disable the NIC?
NIC on the board is Intel I217-LM. I couldn't find the appropriate EeUpdate.exe file for this one.Re: hp prodesk 600 g1 original bios<...

...

Re: hp prodesk 600 g1 original bios
I don't have a backup of the original bin. I wrote one of the files given here. System boots but MAC is FF:FF......
What are my options?
Thanks.

How come I didn't see this topic. Shame on people who charge people for this free tool.
Thanks again.

You, sir, are amazing. Much obliged.
BTW, I wonder why no one share instructions to unlock bios dump.

Re: Bios Password Hp 450 G3
Hi,
I own an HP Probook 450 G3
BIOS version is N78 Ver. 01.14 08/08/2016
Motherboard is 827026-601 and read Model X63 near SoDIMM but I didn't take part the laptop to see the exact model and rev info.
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6500U CPU @ 2.50GHz
Intel(R) HD Graphics 520 & AMD Radeon R7 M340
I created the dump file with CH341A clip programmer without desoldering the chip using AsProgrammer 1.4.1
I'd appreciate if you could remove the password without altering UUID....
