I am an avid fixer, whether it is caused by my own ignorance in damaging my equipment lol or fixing someone else’s tech. I love to restore something back to a usable condition. I was Electronics technician with the Navy for a while and I am also trained as a solder technician. I have replaced SMT chips on logic boards to get them back to life, like the 12” MacBook they released only to have it work for two weeks and die. The power controller kept dying in it. I have foxed phones, computers and iPads but I love to come here because there are more than just resources to diagnose...
