I found my key so i copied 37FC90 - 380030 to the same region so hopefully now i just need my DMI/Serial
I found my serial number around @ 35759C & CD044F but unsure on start and end address.

Macbook pro A2779 820-02841 Schematic
My customer "Only spilled a coffee on it" and now it "Just doesn't turn on?"
Anyways now I need A2779 820-02841 board view and Schematic's if or when anyone gets their hands on them.
I've only just got it so I've disconnected battery and see some minor junk on some filter caps near the USB-C port on the sdcard side but yet to pull the board out to observe Schrodinger's MacBook.

Re: Lenovo IdeaPad 330S-15ARR - 330S_ARR_V06
Many thanks, I managed to sleep at some point this week and then looked and found it all in my original dump so I got it sorted. Again thank you very much.
Edit: one question is bugging me, why not @330000-330280 for the key is it just tested and working on copying only from 330250? I just feel that's the whole region like how @1EE000 - 1EE220 is the dmi ?Last edited by rotceh_dnih; 04-03-2023, 04:47 AM.

Re: Lenovo IdeaPad 330S-15ARR - 330S_ARR_V06
I tried to follow post #29 however @1EE000 there is no data just FF Likewise for @330250
I downloaded the bios from post #2 but nothing I see here is lining up :/ .
Please see attached picture, Surly I'm losing the plot and doing something silly just to many jobs going at once I think....Last edited by rotceh_dnih; 03-30-2023, 01:28 AM.

Re: Lenovo Thinkcentre M93P bios
Hey guys I'm working on a M93p and have got issues writing to these two chips N25Q032A,N25Q064A
My CH341 can read these chips fine but when i try to erase and program it gets stuck it does nothing
anyone else have this or a similar issue?
Solved: i put a jumper on the 5v-3.3v pins converting my 3.3v mod back and it worked, also bios fixed my dead M93P many thanks everyone!...Last edited by rotceh_dnih; 03-27-2023, 09:11 PM.

Removing coke or sugar syrup from liquid damaged devices.
Got an Xbox that had coke spilt in it, must not have been there long but it was sticky and my normal solvents were not making it budge so on a time budget I hit it with some Ajax spray and wipe glass cleaner and it brushed off within 20 seconds.
Whatever's in that bottle is some nasty stuff but it worked a treat!
P.S. I gave it ISO bath, ultrasonic then ISO bath again after these photos as I thought if it cleans up that well so fast it would very likely corrode if anything was left on the PCB....

Re: A1932 820-01521-A PP3v3_UPC Short
Sorry that reading was with battery connected and it must have been alittle flat as its up to 12v now and 12.65v without battery connected and 12.65V with a know good battery.

Re: A1932 820-01521-A PP3v3_UPC Short
Ordered one thank you very much!
Lifted R5110, Short still on pin 1. after some thermal imaging @ low voltage limited current i didn't see anything so suspected U3700, Lifted U3700 WIFI/BT IC and my short from PP3v3_G3S is now gone however its still not booting though i get 20v and what seems to be normal booting/charging current.
all voltages around U7800 appear normal without cycling and as per the wiki these rails check out
PP5v_G3S - 5v & high resistance 10K+
PP3v3_G3S - 3.3v &...

Re: A1932 820-01521-A PP3v3_UPC Short
PP3v3_G3H_RTC = 3.291V
I replaced both the CC32 ic's and now its back to 20v and seems like its charging and somewhat booting as i have fanspin again but no image
I checked its not in dfu mode then ran the thermal cam over the board again and seen U8210 is hot so i lifted it and i still have a short on pin 5/6 PP3v3_G3S
I'll lift R5510 again and see its its really on the PP3v3_G3S_WLANBT line & read through the repair wiki and report back.
Also has anyone got any good suggestions for a...Last edited by rotceh_dnih; 11-29-2022, 01:02 AM.

Re: A1932 820-01521-A PP3v3_UPC Short
I've Ordered two new CD3215C00 ic's just waiting on the postman.
However, before I install them, is there anything I should be looking at before I power up?
Pretty sure I still have a short @ pin 1 R5510, but if after CC32 replacement it boots I'm handing it straight back and referring them to someone like Paul Daniels, I'm just worried I caused more damage then what i found :/
Also if anyone has any tips on voltages or basic steps/post formatting I may have missed or not posted that would help with...

A1932 820-01521-A PP3v3_UPC Short
Hi all got a head scratcher
A1932 came in booting just with no keyboard or trackpad, I found missing PP3v3_G3S rail on J6700 lead me to what I thought was a short around U3700 "wifi ic" so i removed R5510 and injected voltage 0.5v not seeing anything under thermal camera i stupidly increased voltage to around 2v 3A and still nothing..
Now i have no boot and short on both CC PP3v3_UPC_XA_LDO 8.4Ω & PP3v3_UPC_XB_LDO 2.5Ω, PPDCIN_G3H is 0V regardless of what port i plug into and my voltages are as follows
Port 1 - U3200 5v - 0.148A...

Re: iMac A1419 one beep every 5 secs
Another one!
Just got one of these in today and after changing the ram still no joy, thought it had to be a missing rail common with ram so a 2 second google leads me here and your spot on that was my issue so call it a common one

Re: Surface Pro 4 not booting.
Sorry i did miss that question in your first post , My understanding is it can just be replaced. I ordered some a few weeks ago from a local suppler and they were on a tape reel and looked like fresh new leadfree balls with no sign's of being reballed at any time and after installing my pro 4 was back to life.
Its not 100% known what that line is for its thought it might be a digital reference voltage. My board also gave me a voltage of around 0.15v on that cap before changing IC then 3.3v after so please do report back after repla...

Re: Surface Pro 4 not booting.
Do you have 3.3v next to IT8528VG? if not then its dead and needs to be replaced
Please see attached picture and check that cap and report back with its voltage ....Last edited by rotceh_dnih; 04-15-2022, 06:54 PM.
