Hello to all you guys here. I want to recap a few motherboards but they are all dusty. Is there any special solvents that can be used to clean the boards without doing any damage to them? I was thinking of using ordinary rubbing alcohol can it be used?

Hello to you guys here, I have a ABIT-WX6 Mainboard that failed to start so I had it replaced and put it in storage. I happen to come across this site I read some things there about bad caps and how to indentify them so I went and look for my abit-wx6 and inspect it I found five bad caps labeled 1000uf, 6.3 volts so I am now wondering if those caps can prevent the mainboard from starting I checked our local electronics shop here in Jamaica for replacements but they only have 1000uf, 10 volts caps (TWDC) in stock. So I am asking should I replace the caps with the 1000uf 10volts? when I do replaced...
