Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all their detailed updates here. I write this during the coronavirus lockdown. My amp had been the same and have been listening to spotify via my TV instead. Your updates inspired me to give it a go. I soldered the relays from beneath but unfortunately it didnt make a difference.
In addition the amp won't power up now. There is a a relay thud when it is plugged in but the power button does nothing. I guess it will go in the parts bin (ebay) and I will be grateful the TV works, even though...
